Alright so this is the 'About Me' section. I hate writing 'about me' sections. It's sort of like the profile page on a dating site. So what's basically about to happen now is I'm gonna to tell you about myself and try to sound as humble as possible whilst at the same time bragging about my achievements.

If you're a fan, just understand that this is mainly for labels and journalists and not really for you, you just go listen to the music. You don't need the stats.

Okay, now that they're gone, let me break it down for you as best I can.

1995; I'm born. In Zimbabwe, Africa. Lion King style my dad raises me above the animal kingdom and birds sing etc.

2004; My family relocates to England, UK permanently. I immediately start chasing the dream of being a footballer (along with every other kid in England)

2011; I get bored of football, guitar seems like a lot less exercise and a lot sexier. So I start learning guitar.

Now here's where it gets interesting

2013 OCTOBER; While at my first year at University in Portsmouth, I watch my first concert, John Mayer, at the O2 arena in Greenwich. Completely changes the game. I never go back to another Uni lecture, instead start writing songs and playing them in pubs

2013 CHRISTMAS; I head home for the Christmas break. While home, I write a song called Call You Home. Record it, put it on Youtube in January.

2014 February; Call You Home goes viral. A friend from my old school has put the song on Reddit and it's gone straight to the top of the front page. Youtube views shoot from a measly 1000 odd to 500,000 in a few hours, and cross over a million views in one night.

Good Morning America hear about this and run a segment on me here

2014 September; I sign a "joint venture" record deal with Sony (Epic in UK, and FOUR music in Germany)

2015; I release my debut album Stop The Moment

2016; Stop The Moment top 20 album in Germany, top 10 in a couple of other countries.
Call You Home is in Germany's top 20 airplay for 13 weeks consecutively. Peaked at #9 in Switzerland and #7 in Austria

Also, I sign my publishing deal with Reservoir and Budde Music!

2016; 3 singles playlist by Radio 2.
1 A list and 2 B lists. Radio 2 invite me to play a few times including one time on Christmas Day.

2017; Call You Home gets a huge US sync deal on a phone commercial and gets played during the Super Bowl half time.

Also while this is happening I go on a month long US support tour with KT Tunstall

Oh shit I forgot to mention all the gigging. So basically all through this I'm doing some pretty serious gigging. I'll run through it very briefly because I'm tired and this is the longest thing I've written since University.

So I've toured with:
Mark Forster for a month in Germany
James Morrison for 2 months, England and Europe
Milow for a few weeks in Europe, and doing that again with him this year
X  Ambassadors for a month across Europe
KT Tunstall as I said above.

Also opened for James Bay, Amy MacDonald, Zucchero at the Albert Hall and lots of others I can't write down now

I played 8 festivals with my band last summer, the largest of which had 30,000 people and I was second headline, second largest I was also second headline, had about 25,000 people. That was badass.

I've played and will continue to play countless solo shows.
But I've had 2 headline tours with my band across Europe now. The first one was about 5 cities, all about 120 cap venues. The second was about 8 or 9 cities all about 200 to 300 cap venues, Paris was 50 cap I remember, the french love me but they don't know it yet. In fact I can prove they love me because my highest monthly streams come from Paris

Might as well swiftly segue into streams.

Last I checked Call You Home is on 47 million streams including remixes. 21 million on its own. On Spotify. I haven't checked iTunes yet

1 million monthly listeners on Spotify at the moment, including (I checked), one guy in Russia. If I ever meet him I'll give him big hug.

OKAY! That catches us up to now as I finished the KT Tunstall tour a couple of weeks back, I'm gonna go back to doing some more writing for the next album now. Wish me luck x
